Frankfurt / Main. (dbr) Die Glücksforschung nimmt in der öffentlichen Diskussion eine immer prominentere Rolle ein. Glückliche Regionen in Deutschland weisen tatsächlich viele Gemeinsamkeiten auf: Nicht nur die Lebenszufriedenheit, sondern auch das Vertrauen in die Mitmenschen, Gesundheit, Arbeitslosigkeit, Geburtenrate und Einkommen sind dort durchweg günstig ausgeprägt. Dies bestätigt eine Analyse auf Länderebene der «Deutsche Bank Research». Besonders gut stehen dabei Donau-Iller, Ostwürttemberg, Osnabrück und Hamburg-Umland-Süd da. Dagegen befinden sich Ballungsräume nicht unter den ersten Plätzen. Das Ende der Rangliste belegen die ostdeutschen Regionen.
