Bonn. (zmp) Im Durchschnitt hat 2006 jeder Konsument in Deutschland 206 Eier verbraucht. Das ist das Resultat der von ZMP und BLE gemeinsam erarbeiteten Versorgungsbilanz. Demnach wurde 2006 pro Kopf ein Ei mehr verbraucht als im Jahr zuvor. Vorangegangene Schätzungen waren noch von einem um ein Ei gesunkenen Verbrauch ausgegangen. Die deutsche Eierproduktion erreichte 2006 exakt 12,967 Milliarden St?ies waren trotz des von 43,5 Millionen auf 43,3 Millionen Tiere gesunkenen Legehennenbestands 1,1 Prozent mehr als im Vorjahr Damit erreichte die durchschnittliche Jahreslegeleistung mit 281 Eier pro Henne ein neues Rekordergebnis. Der Selbstversorgungsgrad konnte sich bei knapp 71 Prozent behaupten. Jedoch hatte der in 2001 noch bei 75 Prozent gelegen, berichtet die Zentrale Markt- und Preisberichtstelle (ZMP) in Bonn.
