Berlin. (bvl) Fast jeder vierte überprüfte Betrieb, der Lebensmittel herstellt, bearbeitet oder verkauft ist im Jahr 2007 bei Lebensmittelkontrollen aufgefallen. Rund 18 Prozent der kontrollierten Betriebe verstießen gegen Hygienebestimmungen, sechs Prozent hatten ihre Produkte mangelhaft gekennzeichnet oder irreführend beworben oder verpackt. Die betrieblichen Eigenkontrollen wurden in rund sieben Prozent der Betriebe beanstandet. Dies ist das Ergebnis des «Jahresberichts Lebensmittelüberwachung 2007», den das Bundesamt für Verbraucherschutz und Lebensmittelsicherheit (BVL) auf der Basis der Kontrollergebnisse der Bundesländer zusammengestellt hat, die für die Lebensmittelüberwachung zuständig sind.
